The Ruidoso Police Department's Special Response Team is always on call and ready to go, no matter what the situation is.  The officers that make up the "SRT" are highly trained and highly motivated.  They spend many training hours monthly to keep their skills sharp.  Just last year, our SRT proved themselves very effective in the capture and arrest of two wanted fugitives from Texas.

The SRT consists of the following officers:  Sgt Dewayne Goar/SRT Commander, Cpl Joel Martin, Cpl Dale Harrison, Cpl Chris Condon, Officer Shane Barnett, and Officer Glenn Koshinski.
